Phoenix Plaza Rooftop Parking

Phoenix Plaza Centre Management have brought in a 3 hr parking limit on 2 out of the 3 levels of the Carpark adjacent to the Centre

The staff members that work in this centre must park on the rooftop if they do not wish to be fined or move their vehicle every 3 hrs. Moving every 3 hrs is not practicle at all for the majority of the workers.

Recent events including vandalism, breaking and entering of vehicles, trolleys hanging over the edge of the rooftop, cars wipers and mirrors being tempered with along with the most recent foul play of the fire hose being used as a rope is the straw that has broken the camels back.

We the workers are feeling it is unsafe to leave our cars on the rooftop and beleive theri should be cameras or security patrols regularly to stop this from happening or give the workers permits so we can park on the lower floors without having to worry about the 3 hr parking and feel safer as there is more lighting esepcially at night.

SOmething needs to be done and it needs to happen NOW not just get brushed under teh carpet when it is reported.

Update #19 years ago
This week we have had more trouble with Teenagers seen skateboarding around the cars and younger kids turning on the fire hoses in the carpark lets see if we can get more signatures before passing onto Centre Management. Tell anyone you know.
