Stop the Elephants trekking in Thailand

  • by: Ivan Rodrigo

Each year, between 50 and 100 baby elephants are captured in Burma to feed the Thai tourism industry.

In the last 100 years, 90% of the population of Asian elephants disappear much more quickly and more quietly than Africans, against whose poaching from various NGOs fight was lost.

We don´t have to forget the trate and training these animals suffer, hitting them, confine them in cages, in mane case suffering malnutrition and other illness like tuberculosis.

Turist agencies are promoting this trekkings making business about the suffer of this animal, so we want to stop this kind of activities and protect them from the bad trate.
