Urge Company To Transport And Shelter Bettas Better

The Walmarts located on both Clinton Hwy. and Chapman Hwy. in Knoxville, TN have a problem managing the betta fish. I recently found that they prefer not to fill the water to a humane level after the fish supplier (Blue Springs Hatchery) has brought the fish and placed them into bowls. To begin, the bettas are carried in minuscule baggies. The vendor is located in Alabama, so im not sure, but they may be carried all that way like that, from Leeds, Alabama to Knoxville TN. Then, they are tossed haphazardly into the cramped containers. I saw the vendor do this, the bettas being in shock and stunned with their treatment. I am surprised that any of the fish survived. Many walmarts have this same problem. The vendor informed me that he could not fill the water more, so that the hole on top could get air in. There was still a lot of room between the air hole and the water. The fish should not be kept in these tiny containers as it is, but then people refuse to fill their water to proper levels. Employees at both Walmarts have also told me that they cannot fill the water more, that there has to be room for air between the water and the air hole. Obviously, in these pictures, there is much room between these two places.
