Recently in Indiana, officers from Animal Care and Control visited a home on North Goodlet Avenue only to find a healthy-looking male pitbull in the backyard along with a female that had perished in its dog house. The female was emaciated and had no visible signs of food plus a nearby bowl of frozen-solid water. Officials conferred with the homeowner, Mr. Dabner, to determine what caused the neglect and death of one of the dogs.

Mr. Jonathon Dabner stated that his female dog had a serious injury on its neck but he could not afford the veterinary bills. Instead of looking into other options, this owner decided to starve his dog to death and put it out of its misery. However, doing so caused the animal great discomfort, pain and freezing up until its eventual demise. Please sign and share this petition everywhere to gain justice for this poor dead dog that was starved because its owner refused it medical care due to high veterinary expenses. He needs to be punished to the full extent of the law for animal cruelty and neglect!!

Marion Supreme Court in Indiana – Ensure that Mr. Jonathon Dabner is punished to the fullest extent of the law for starving his dog to death because he “could not afford vet bills it needed for an injury.” Not only did he starve the dog, he kept it outdoors in these frigid temperatures where it froze to its demise. Such a beast of an owner should not be allowed to ever own another animal as long as he lives and be slapped with the strictest punishment possible! There are other options in caring for a sick animal, even on a budget, or he could have sought the assistance from the local humane society rather than let his dog suffer in freezing weather without nourishment!!
