Rabbits should stay in the sitting-room not in a pan.

A new bill has been proposed in the Italian Parliament to ban the use of rabbit meat as food.

In some northern Italian regions roast rabbit is considered to be a delicacy and hundreds of thousands of rabbits are killed and roasted every year.

Rabbits are kept in tiny uncomfortable cages and after a few months killed, often in a cruel way.
