This is an extremely important problem that needs to be resolved. I can speak from experience that my life turned into a nightmare when DCF came to my home because someone called anonymously of course. I do admit that things were not perfect, however we signed the family integrity plan and we're told we were doing good. Then a few days later our kids were removed. Well that was four years ago. Once my kids were gone it only made things worse you see because when you take a person's reason to be better away it's not always the best way to handle things. I speak from experience my life I can't say will ever be complete. My oldest was adopted and my two youngest are still with a family member that used to be my very best friend and now won't even speak to me. DCF ruined my life and my kids as well. The worker Mrs Lopez that came out put many things in the report that were not true or I did not say. My oldest daughter was humiliated in high school and will not speak to me to this day. I really do not think what they do to families is right and until we do something about it, it will never change. I would give anything to reverse back and do many things different in my life, I am not perfect. But I am a mother who misses her kids all because someone called with lies and then the caseworker was dishonest in her report. We have to stop this!!
