There is a petition going around to re-shoot the 8th season. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I believe that the writers, directors, producers, actors, actresses, etc. all deserve some recognition. As a writer myself, you will never please everyone. I believe there should be some gratitude paid to those associated with the show because many people have loved and adored this show since the very beginning.
Westeros may not have gotten exactly what they wanted (and maybe neither did the audience), but it (Westeros) got exactly what it needed. I have many theories (which I have read on some other websites that seem to think along the same lines) of how truly satisfying the final episode is and may leave some things slightly "unfinished", but that's also how life is. We can infer the future of Westeros.
