WE DEMAND FAIR COMPENSATION FOR CITY OF TORONTO F.I.C. POSITIONS

By definition, F.I.C.'s are in charge of the entire facility and all of the staff while we are working, while being paid at a dramatically lower rate than some of the instructors! The responsibilities of F.I.C. personnel are being increased as we are expected to assist the full time staff, but our compensation has not increased. We demand that, during bargaining, our union strongly require the city to revaluate our compensation to reflect the responsibility required of us.
