Bring More Faculty of Color to The Ohio State University

Our group is all about listening to the voices of the students here at The Ohio State University. After conducting a survey, the students have spoken. Students of color have expressed that they feel a great dissonance not only between themselves, but also with the faculty. Due to this dissonance, students not only feel as though there is a lack of diversity, but that this lack in inhibiting their experience at Ohio State. Our group intends to bridge that gap between faculty and students and create a Social Change Movement to improve these relationships on campus.

By signing this petition, you are stating that you would like for more professors and faculty of color to be brought to The Ohio State University's campus. Having more diversity will allow students to feel more comfortable not only in a social aspect, but will also help them feel more comfortable in the classroom. Having this relatable environment will promote students' academic and social success and bring overall unity to the campus.
