Boycott Book Promoting Murder of Males "Defending Battered Women on Trial"

  • by: Attila Vinczer
  • recipient: University of British Columbia Press and Prime Minister Stephen Harper

It is very important that violence against anyone, is not disseminated in any form and certainly not in a book written by a law professor.  Everyone should feel safe living in Canada with laws that prohibit and punish those who hurt or murder others.

Please sign this petition protesting the protesting mortal violence against males within the book Elizabeth A. Sheehy has written.  She is Shirley Greenberg Professor of Women and the Legal Profession in the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa.  Her book promotes violence and suggests that women can kill their husbands while they sleep.  Elizabeth A. Sheehy wants to legalize murdering men.

Promoting violence against anyone in Canada is wrong and in violation of Canadian laws and moral principals that govern our conduct.  Elizabeth A.  Sheehy, a law professor and a member of the Bar, has lost her moral an lawful compass.  The book that the University of British Columbia Press has agreed to publish is also promoting and enabling the spread of hatred and violence against males.  We are directly opposed to this book that promotes violence against males within this book.  Please contact UBC Press and

Prime Minister Stephen Harper to express your concerns about the contents of this book.
