Service dogs ARE welcome: Please sign to help my brother!

My 10-year-old brother has Autism. About 2 years ago, we had the great opportunity to get a service dog for him. Her name is Leah. She helps calm him down in stressful situations, keeps him from running away, and so many other helpful things. She has been a blessing to my family.

A problem arose when it came to the time to get her to go to school with Logan. No school in Humble ISD had ever allowed a service dog to attend. Why? Some people have allergies, or just don't want a dog in there. I can understand that, but to a certain extent it's extreme.

My parents fought to give Leah that right. After the top officials agreed, Hidden Hollow allowed it. Logan still attends there because of their special needs program.

In my mind not allowing a service in a school is unacceptable. So many special needs children can't even go to school, let alone have a service dog. But if they do, the least a school can do is let a service dog onto campus.
