Iriomotskaya Cat - Bengal cat subspecies, found only on Iriomote, the island area of 293 km ², the most southern point of the Ryukyu Archipelago, located at a distance of about 200 km east of Taiwan.

It seems that the cat has iriomoteyskaya initially small population. The number of its individuals is less than a hundred. It has been included in the Red Book because of its small population and a small habitat.
