The court will decide whether state-level abortion bans violate EMTALA, or whether those draconian bans in states like Idaho, Texas, and Florida trump this critical law.
We're seeing the fatal consequences of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade as doctors are threatened with losing their licenses or being arrested for providing emergency, medically necessary, life-saving care.
