You would think that anyone working in an animal shelter is someone to be proud of; someone who literally loves and cares for animals. The last one that would harm an animal is one that opens their hearts to working with them, with their best interest at heart. However, a Michael Papini was charged with animal cruelty of a sweet, one-year old puppy that was found in a commercial dumpster, all dirty and matted.
The kennel attendant, Mr. Papini, worked at the Long Island Town’s animal shelter. The abandoned dog, a female Maltese-mix, wearing a pink collar and leash, was found in a dumpster outside of a gas station in West Islip, New York. It is believed that she was placed in a plastic bag but she chewed her way out of the bag and was noted by her barking. Another dog is believed to have also been abandoned as such although that dog was not fortunate enough to be found.
Investigations continue in this case and this monster only had to put up $250 to get out of jail for such a horrendous crime! His attorney claims there is no proof to show he is guilty. However, authorities do have leads and evidence that proves Mr. Papini is an animal abuser and should never, ever own or work with them in any capacity ever again.

West Islip and Long Island, N. Y. Law Enforcement and Judicial System – Please do all you can to ensure this guy is found guilty for his actions of animal abuse and cruelty on these dogs, including the one that was found in the dumpster. There is still one missing who obviously was not as lucky as this little puppy and obviously there are others that have been abused in various ways that have gone unnoticed! If he did it once, he did it before and will do it again without bringing him to justice and making him accountable!! Punish this guy to the full extent of the law and ensure he never works with or owns another animal, ever!!
