Many of you have heard the recent sad story of the monster who blew up his own family dog in Washington, with authorities originally pushing for minor punishment because, as they stated, the dog didn’t suffer. He never knew what hit him! The fact is that this poor dog never stood a chance to provide the unconditional love and affection for its family he thought loved him!!!
Mr. Christopher Wayne Dillingham, 45, pleaded guilty to the crime and possession of the explosives he used without a license. It is baffling to think anyone can just destroy and blow up their pet, only to get a year in jail??
When the offense occurs, Mr. Dillingham said that his girlfriend put the devil in the dog and that the world would soon come to an end, so he had to get rid of the “devil” dog. He made an explosive device out of black powder he gathered from illegal firecrackers, rapped the device around the dog’s neck who was probably wagging his tail for his “master” at the time, and set it off to kill the dog instantly. The blast alarmed neighbors who called officers.
I can’t believe this guy was only given a year in jail, time taken away for “good behavior” and time already served since the crime. This is just not enough time in jail for such a cruel crime, giving this and other creeps the edge to do repeat crimes!! This is not justice for Cabella the dog and other animals in the hands of such brutal people who think an animal is just a thing they can harm and abuse at their own discretion.

Stevenson, WA Judicial System – A year in jail for Mr. Christopher Wayne Dillingham is not justice for the family dog he blew up without thought or regret. Can you imagine the look on the dog’s face and the wag of the tail for the owner he loved as he was placing a bomb on its neck?? Animals are sweet, loving creatures that cannot protect themselves or have a voice. In order to protect them from beasts like this guy, you must enforce must stricter punishment as well as register them on an animal cruelty list so abusers never harm another animal. Otherwise, if you do not do so, the abuse will continue, not only with animals but children and other humans!!!!
