Demand Poughkeepsie Police Department investigate documented animal abuse case

The Poughkeepsie Police Department failed to respond to multiple calls stemming from an eyewitness account of a small dog being abused. Since then, an animal rights groups has developed a strong lead in the case and other witnesses. The Poughkeepsie PD needs to make up for their inaction, prosecute the abuse, and remove the dog to the rescue group willing to take it. Animal Abuse is against the law

Dear Pougkeepsie Police Deparment, This petition from signers around the world asked that you pursue an investigation in the video showing a small dog "gizmo" being abused.   You have done this even before the petition was presented, and we now know that Gizmo is safe, and a reward for the lead suspect has been offered.  On behalf of all those concerned arond the world, thank you for doing your job so expertly and professionally.

You have made the Town of Poughkeepsie proud.
