Let William Go!

Many of you will have heard of William the goat, who escaped from the University of Iowa, eluded capture for ten days, but has now been returned to the lab. The University refers to William as an 'it' and admits he was used in painful orthopedic research. Animal testing of any kind is notoriously unreliable and cruel. Accredited Sanctuaries stepped forward to offer William a home, including New Life Animal Sanctuary in California, who even offered to pay transport costs, but the University refuses to release William.

While saving William wont end animal research, and it wont save the other animals tortured by this University, it will mean the world to William. We call on the University of Iowa to do the right thing.
