Tell Arizona Police to Take Hate Crime Seriously!

A gay Hispanic man, Felix Bermea, his partner and his family (which includes a disabled daughter) have been targeted with hate crimes over the past 10 weeks. This is not happening anywhere else in their neighborhood.

It began with offensive graffiti on cars and the street outside their home, then their bushes were set on fire, then someone banged on doors -- including the window of their disabled daughter -- and the house was broken into, with profanity left written on many of the rooms. The attacks are seeming to get worse.

After all of this time, however, a detective was only assigned to them within the last week. The family is taking extra measures to try to stay safe, but they shouldn't have to do that by themselves. They shouldn't be in danger because of who they are.

Please tell the Gilbert Police Department to take this more seriously. This could lead to something dangerous or potentially fatal and should be a priority for them!

Gilbert Police Department --

Please take the hate crimes against Felix Bermea and his family more seriously. This could lead to something much more serious, and maybe even fatal. It is time to make this a priority and make sure that doesn't happen!
