Stop Monsanto's "Dark Act" From Banning GMO Labels!

Monsanto claims that its Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) are completely safe for us to eat. If that's true, then why are they fighting so hard to keep their GMOs a secret? Why has Monsanto spent $51 million lobbying in 2015 to stop Congress and states from requiring GMO labeling? What are they hiding?

The Big Ag corporation's latest act of greed is what many activists call this the “DARK Act” – the Denying Americans the Right to Know Act. This new bill, working its way through Congress now, would block states from passing GMO labeling laws, put organic crops at risk from neighboring GMO crops, and hamstring the FDA.

No matter what you think about GMOs, labeling shouldn't be controversial. Consumers have a right to know what we're buying so that we can make our own choices at the grocery store, and we have a right to decide what exactly we are going to feed to our families. Monsanto disagrees.

It's no surprise. Monsanto has been called the most evil company in the world before. They bully farmers, manufactured toxic chemicals like Agent Orange, and kill our bees. We can't trust Monsanto.

Tell the Senate: Reject Monsanto's DARK Act! Customers have rights too!

Over 90% of Americans believe genetically modified foods should be labeled, yet Monsanto and its allies are spending tens of millions of dollars lobbying Congress to block mandatory labeling. Stand strong and do not co-sponsor or vote for the DARK Act, legislation that would prevent labeling of GMO foods.
