A dog named "Miracle", earned her name after surviving a harrowing plunge
over the side of a bridge in Choctaw County, Okla., earlier this week, reported Saturday's KXII News.
The pit bull was purposefully dropped over the side of bridge outside of Boswell
and after she hit the ground, 30 feet below, she remained there overnight
until being discovered by a good Samaritan.
The dog was taken to an area veterinary clinic where she was given her well-earned name, and treated for multiple injuries, including a large laceration on her chest
and dislocated wrist, which resulted from the fall.
Authorities have identified and arrested two teens
who are believed to be responsible for Miracle's horrifying ordeal.
The teens, whose names have not been released,
are expected to be charged with felony animal cruelty on Monday, March 3.
After Miracle recovers from her injuries, she will be adopted to a new family.
According to a prior publication, the teens allegedly stated that the two-year-old dog was thrown over the side of the bridge
because she was of no use because she would not "catch hogs."
Well, I'll keep the comment about these two teens for myself
and send a lot of love to Miracle to help her find a good home
where she will be loved and cherished for being the beautiful creature that she is.
