Stop the Bunn Ranch development

We the undersigned oppose the zoning proposal of the property known as the Bunn Ranch/Farm (owned by The Bunn Family LLC) located on Peeksville Rd in Locust GA. Officially located in Land lot 195, District 2, Plat Book 23, Plat Page 175, Parcel Number 145-01047001 (179.95 acres).

This property is being considered for Rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) to R-2 (Single Family) Residential Subdivision. This rezoning meeting is to be held at Locust Grove GA City Council Workshop on May 15, 2017 at 6pm.

We, the undersigned, are Tax Paying and Voting Residents of the City of Locust Grove Ga and we do not want this property to be rezoned to allow Single Family or Multi-Family developments. We feel it will put an extreme stress on our local utilities, school systems and added traffic to the streets of Locust Grove Ga.
Please vote No to the Rezoning Request of this property.

(**EDITED TO ADD 05-10-2017: The City of Locust Grove finally posted the Agenda for the meeting at Close of Business 05-10-2017. It states the following: Rezoning of approximately 77 acres located south of Peeksville Road along Wolf Creek from RA (residential agricultural) to R-2 (Single-Family Residential) for development of a single-family residential subdivision**)

(**Update 05-15-17 - The City of Locust Grove, on 05-15-17 at 4:30pm, changed the amount of land being requested for rezoning. It is now being asked for 113 acres to be rezoned. With this request, they have indicated that 47 acres will be left natural (undeveloped). There will be 125 home lots measuring 18,000 sqft (0.413 acre each) with NO amenities being required.
