The production of paper pulp is opereted with eucalyptus trees in many countries of the world (India, Brazil, Spain, Portugal...).
These trees, coming from desertical Australia, are very efficient absorbing any underground waters, creating strong competition to other plants, excluding fauna, drying up natural sources and limitting food availability, as even cattle can't digest their leaves.
Localk population is trongly opposed to these practices, and environmental organizations have multiplied repirts and audience requests, but even the State (Ministry of agriuculture, forests, and environment) can't do much about it, because the paper paste production is one of the most impoirtant exportation posts and the enterprises (Navegador) are allmighty.
