We are asking that you strongly consider banning Ringling Brothers from appearing in Cleveland. Indisputable and documented evidence shows, clearly, that Ringling abuses animals. We should not be perpetuating this abuse by supporting and promoting this business. We feel that animals should not be used in any exploitative manner. Ringling Brothers profits from the animals in their care. They are seen as commodities not living, aware creatures that should never be forced, through fear based training, to perform unnatural tricks. These animals are housed and transported in far from proper conditions as well. They are all sentient beings that experience fright, feel pain, possess emotions, and desire freedom. Please consider joining other progressive areas that have set an example of compassion by banning Ringling Brothers and any circus which features the use of animals.
