Get criminal charges filed against former officer Matthew Peck for the death of his K9 partner Bak

Matthew Peck was a K9 officer with the Stephen's County Police Department in Oklahoma. His K9 PARTNER, Bak, was had been with the department for 6 years. On August 5th, Bak was discovered dead in the back of Peck's police car. He had left the dog there for 36 hours since going off shift.

Peck left Bak with no food or water and the cause of death is assumed to be heat exhaustion. There have been reports of sources saying Peck regularly left Bak in his cruiser on his days off . This was his partner for four years, and this kind of negligence needs to have severe consequences. Peck needs to be held accountable for his atrocious behavior.

Peck has been fired but that is NOT enough. He needs to formally be charged for negligence, animal cruelty and being responsible for the death of a k9 officer. Please join me in petitioning Stephen's County Oklahoma District Attorney's office asking for Matthew Peck to be formally charged with the death of K9 officer Bak.
