Anyone who has been a victim of being shoved to the streets and has health conditions but cant even get your own records, should sign this petition. Its been happening for years and I am speaking out. My name is Clinton Ingram and I was neglected by the system that was in place in the early 90s and let me tell you corruption. Just a few stats here for you to think about: In Kentucky 47% of foster kids are between the ages of 13-21, Nationally each year 26,500 kids age out each year. 624 from Kentucky alone. Who are they 40%white, 31%black, 20%hispanic, and 10% other races and muti racial. Males cover 53% of the population and females are 47%. Ok heres one 20% have major depression episodes and 25% are diagnosed with PTSD. An estimated 30%-80% of foster children have chronic medical issues 25% of those have three or more. 25% are homeless, 37% are highschool dropouts, Over 50% of the aged out population are unemployed, 12% suffer from drug and alchol abuse, 80% of aged out Men are arrested and of that 80% 60% are convicted. Now heres whats crazy to me! 90% live in povertyearning less than 10k a year! WoW! But wonder why only 32-40% on public assistance. My guess they either now are in Prison or they are exactly like me out here wandering what to do next to make change. How to improve this shatterred corrupt system.
