STOP MAJOR SPORTS FROM ROBBING THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THEM RICH

Richard Sherman recently made a great point. To go on strike. In order to get what he and follow NFL players want, more money? MORE MONEY? NFL aside how about NBA, MLB and the NHL. Yes they are the best athletes in the WORLD. Yes they have worked hard. Yes they have made sacrifices. Yes some of them lost loved ones along the way to get to where they are now. Yes they have had ups downs and many many other circumstances. But just because of that they become more valuable than a common person? More valuable than our teachers? The ones who help mold these young minds. More valuable than our service members? The ones who allow us to do the things us humans do. To have freedom and be able to play these game freely and not worry of harm. More valuable than the doctors and nurses who help save lives. More valuable than our Police, Fire and emergency respondents? More valuable than you or I? I am not here to say that they do not deserve to be paid, but MORE MONEY. Steph Curry just landed a 200 MILLION contract. FOR WHAT??? Sure hes the greatest shooter we have ever seen. Sure hes 2x CHAMP. Sure he shattered the 3pt record 3 years in a row. But who made him rich! WHO! WE AS THE PEOPLE ARE ALLOWING THINGS LIKE THIS TO HAPPEN. WE SUPPORT AND BUY THE TICKETS. EVEN MYSELF. I GO TO GAMES. I BUY MEMORABILIA. It has to stop!! These games are a favorite part of our past times. Watching them most importantly. But the average american can't just go to game once a month. Tickets alone for a decent seat are enough. Let alone beer prices, food, parking. Now imagine you have 1 child let alone 2 or 3. The night is easily $500 and that's if you have nose bleed seats. Take the metro to get to the venue and eat before the game. I could understand wanting more money if just half of these athletes actually gave back, truly gave back. Now i know a lot of them do but its just a fraction. Just like PK Suban. He has given 10 Million to hospitals. 10 Million, he needs to be applauded. He is the prime example of what every athlete needs to be doing and should be doing. A role model and a leader to young minds. Flaunting expensive cars and lavish vacations is great you earned it, But do not sit here and complain about MORE MONEY. You live among the 1%. You live lives 99% of us will never know what its like. Most of the world will never experience what you get to see and explore. The memories you can have in one year are some peoples lifetime dreams. Use that for a positive change not to flaunt and brag. Not to mention the message it sends to the youth. Yes you made the sacrifice and the struggle to earn this money but also we as the fans of these sports are making you rich. IF THE FANS STOP ALLOWING/WATCHING THE NONSENSE OF HIKED TICKET PRICES , MERCHANDISE TO RISE AND THESE PLAYERS LANDING MILLION DOLLAR DEALS. THEN MAYBE, JUST MAYBE WE CAN HUMBLE THESE PLAYERS. WHO ONCE HAD IT WORSE OFF THAN MOST. MAYBE THEY CAN REMEMBER. YOU TOO WERE ONCE A YOUNG FAN WHO WANTED TO GO TO THE GAME AND COULDN'T. SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU COULD'T AFFORD IT. Not everything in this world should be about money, but yet the greed in us all overcomes and takes US over... We lose sight of the little guy. Some of us do at least, some don't. Like those who have won the Walter Peyton award or the Arthur Ashe award. We need more folks like that. We need people to take pay cuts. With the money we spend on sports we could solve real life issues, Hunger, Homeless in america, Our poor wounded vets and veteran programs. THE LAST PEOPLE ON EARTH WHO NEED MORE MONEY IS THE RICH GETTING RICHER AND NOT GIVING BACK TO CHANGE THE WORLD FOR A POSITIVE PLACE. Now i know this is short and could of brought up many other points or maybe even said it better but the bottom line is. WE AS PEOPLE MUST DO BETTER. IF ALL THE CELEBS AND ATHLETE BANNED TOGETHER. THEY ALONE COULD SAVE THIS WORLD. IF ONLY THEIR INDIVIDUAL GREED WASN'T SO STRONG..THE WORLD IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE FULL OF BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE. LETS HELP EVERYONE BE EQUAL. STOP SUPPORTING THINGS THAT DON'T NEED SUPPORT. I KNOW CONVINCING AMERICANS TO STOP WATCHING SPORTS IS INSANE. I HAVE A BETTER CHANCE OF HITTING THE LOTTO BUT IT CAN ALL START WITH CELEBRITIES AND ATHLETES GIVE BACK MORE TO THE PEOPLE. WE WATCH THE MOVIES WE WATCH THE SPORTS. WE CONTROL THE INCOME. THEY KNOW THAT AND THEY NEVER WANT US AS A WHOLE TO REALIZE IT. ONCE WE DO THE WORLD WILL CHANGE. STRENGTH IN NUMBERS ISN'T A SAYING BECAUSE IT SOUNDS GOOD. ITS TRUE!!
