Government Canyon State Natural Area is gorgeous and vast. For anyone visiting the park, the areas commonly ventured by guests include the popular hiking trails in the front country. Only the avid hikers and bikers that have the stamina to take on the backcountry are able to enjoy what the park fully has to offer. If it was open to OHV use (Marked trails only), then it would generate much more popularity by enticing people that aren't able to hike or bike through such rough terrain; Instead, they would be able to ride through and even stop to enjoy specific locations with friends or even an entire family. Furthermore, it would generate substantial revenue if the park charged per OHV while providing all necessary information to sustain the natural area and prevent any damage.
