Far too many people are being shot by guns in the hands of criminals today! many of these criminals have long arrest and conviction records and the reduction of their sentences is only adding to a cyclic situation of recidivist commissions of criminal activities.
Innocent persons are being killed in their homes, while walking to or from the store or schools, or just simply by sitting and having a conversation with someone else.

No person should be an arbitrarily targeted subject of an inept individual's sense of self-power, and the office of the Attorney General of the United States has the authority to see to it that citizens are protected.
Lesser crimes should be prosecuted into shorter sentences, if not set into a controlled non-prison status, unless or until the person(s) commit further criminal activities.

The need for action is now, because yesterday, someone was lost to a shooting who shouldn't have been, and today, maybe another person is on the way to becoming the next victim. We cannot wait for tomorrow, we are demanding action, now!
