Demand the UK Government Save Woodlands from Being Destroyed for any Developments

Dozens of ancient woodlands are destined to be bulldozed to make way for Britain’s new high-speed railway line, according to a report in The Times.

At least 63 woods dating back more than 400 years could be damaged as part of phase one of the High Speed 2 route from London to Birmingham.

The Woodland Trust has accused the company behind the rail project of a cover-up by trying to “disguise the irrevocable loss and damage this irreplaceable habitat will suffer”.

Woodlands should be protected as part of Britain's natural heritage. Will you join me in demanding the UK Government works to protect ancient woodlands and avoid irreplaceable natural heritage loss.
