Miami Dade Animal Shelter has one of the highest rate of Killing Animals in the Whole nation that's  right every year thousands upon thousands dogs and cats are put to sleep , in recent weeks 79 were killed in a single week .  In this stage of technology they need to work more with the public that spend lots of time advocating for this animals to be placed in fosters or rescues . There have been countless times when animals had a chance to a better l ife  and they were senseless killed . They should work with people on Facebook volunteer pages , with community newspapers , with advocates for animals , with rescue groups . People want to help this poor animals but there is a big   disconnect between policies of the County , staff and public . There is no education for owners that surrender animals , nor there is an honest account of the thousands of Animals killed by this shelter year after year . The word needs to get out the people should know Miami Dade Animal Services in Florida is one of the highest kill shelter in the Nation . There has to be a public outcry for this animals and their senseless killings , they can do so much to spread the word about animals and work with some many groups to place and save so many but they just do not care . Very few animals ever made out that shelter lets give them a chance at a better life , lets work together to slow down the killings , Lets see if this organization can work with others and care for Animals instead of killing them even when people  are advocating and trying to place them out of the shelter .
