Demand Malaysian authorities to rescue girls from the sex trade
Thousands of girls from poor neighbouring countries are held against their will or bonded due to debt and forced to work in the sex industry. While the sex trade is illegal by Malaysian law, brothels are brazen enough to advertise their business online. Masquerading as spas, health centres and massage parlours, these brothels are believed to be operated by the underworld right under the noses of the authorities. In the 2014 annual Trafficking of Persons (TIP) report Malaysia has been downgraded to Tier 3.
Demand that the girls be rescued from slavery and the perpetrators,pimps,middle men and everyone complicit in this be brought to justice.
