Save Chinese White Dolphins from Extinction

 

"Currently, less than two percent of Hong Kong waters have been designated as Marine Protected Areas. In order to help secure the future population of the Chinese white dolphin, the protected area must be expanded to include the waters of the West Lantau and Soko Islands. Designating these waters as marine parks would dramatically increase the size of the Chinese white dolphins’ habitat and mating grounds, allowing them to live free from life-threatening marine traffic and commercial fishing.

The Chinese white dolphin is near extinction due to decades of habitat degradation, prey depletion, and water pollution. Urge Hong Kong to protect the dolphins' habitat and prevent this beautiful, intelligent creature from disappearing forever."
