BC Bowl - Renaming of BC Place Stadium

As we turn a new leaf on legalization of cannabis products in Canada, there is increasing demand for certain events and organizations to start looking for new venues locally to accommodate their needs.

In the recent light of BC Place Stadium looking for a new name, I got to thinking...

As a soon to be global front-runner of cannabis, Canada and Vancouver (more specifically) has an excellent opportunity to capitalize on a perfectly paired venture.

Renaming BC Place Stadium to the BC Bowl.

The idea is quite simple...

Organizers of the current 420 events on Sunset Beach have received a notice to vacate the grounds for hosting the event by 2020. Bringing the world famous 420 event to a new location that will need to meet the demands of the city officials responsible for licensing.

BC Place Stadium is the answer.
Let's be realistic about the potentially massive global market for cannabis in Canada...

Now think about this stadium and how the top opens up.
Imagine the open roof on 420 and the billowing smoke that will come out of the top. Any cannabis user, recreational or medicinal will see the relation... It would look like a big bowl being smoked.

The image alone would be globally recognized. It would open up massive opportunities in global marketing for cannabis industries around Canada.
In turn, this will bring in some of the biggest media organizations, licensed producers and established entrepreneurs the cannabis world has to offer.

Rumor has it, the naming could be sold to Telus (mind you I'm not completely up to date). The better solution would be to see if any of the current major Canadian cannabis producers have interest in investing in the future of Canada and Cannabis. Example being; Canna Farms BC Bowl. (not a great example, but you should get the point)...
Even keeping it as The BC Bowl would have a massive global impact. Perhaps it's the right idea, leasing events to organizers such as The High Times Magazine. Again, imagine the name and publicity that comes with it. "First Annual 420 with High Times Magazine at The BC Bowl". These are just easy examples.

The event wouldn't take longer than the first year before it established.
Having the right people involved and enough public motivation to push this in the right direction will surely get it a green light.

We eliminate the 420 event being hosted on a public beach for starters. Then we bring it into a venue that has massive air circulation and an open roof. Since it would be hosted in a stadium, there could be an area to check identification to verify that each of the entrant's are of legal age to consume/purchase cannabis.

By doing this, everybody wins.

Just imagine the endless possibilities and revenue streams this could bring for Canadians and our economy. It's a no brainier, sign the petition (If you'd like to call it that) - let's make this a reality!

*Note - I will try and update this on a regular basis as it gains traction*
