JUSTICE FOR SLAIN PHILIPPINE EAGLE, PAMANA

After the brutal murder of Cecil the Lion, another magnificent animal lost its life because of human greed. "Pamana", a 3 year old, female, Philippine Eagle (Pithecophaga jefferyi) was found dead on the forest floor 3 months after her release.
Now it is a given that after animals are rehabilitated they should be sent back to their natural habitat. The Philippine Eagle Foundation (PEF) was able to accomplish their goal but a very selfish person decided to put all their efforts in vain.
There is a reward of P100,000.00 (approximately $2,000) to be given to anyone who can give information about the killer. But this is no easy task. The government needs all the help they can get. There are only 400 pairs of these eagles left in the wild.
"Pamana" means "heritage" and it will be lost if the killing doesn't stop.

The Philippines Government has so many priorities right now, on top of the investigation of Pamana's killing. But we urge the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, as well as the Philippine President, to also give time for the endangered wildlife.

Thank you. It means a lot to the country.
