Knock Down Abandoned House

There is an abandoned home that has been abandoned for many years. It is located in the Little Village area of Chicago on 27th and komensky.  Earlier this year a fire was started inside by who we think were teens playing around inside the abandoned home; strike one. Our house could have caught fire too. This was the scariest thing. The house was boarded up after the fire. Homeless men started living inside the garage. These men kept multiplying and all they would do is hang around and get drunk, making me feel unsafe, especially since I have a young toddler. Strike two. Oil barrels were found and oil was spilled all over the yard of the home. Another minor fire was then started, strike three. I spotted teens trying to pry apart the boarded up door on various occasions as well. Two days ago, a homicide was committed. One of the homeless men invading the property was found dead in the yard and it was ruled a homicide, strike four! This house is only a few houses away from an elementary school. Too many negative occurrences have been going on. This homicide was the last straw. We need this house torn down, and we need your help! Please sign the petition!
