FIRE BSA President Robert Gates

Whereas, in 1899 Baden-Powell launched Boy Scouts for the express purpose of providing families and their boys a safe opportunity to explore the outdoors, to develop skills and competancy required to navigate difficult challenges and exciting adventures.

Whereas, in 1947, Boy Scouts of America (BSA) began tracking multiple individuals who were not only not serving the best interests of Boy Scouts, they were in fact sexually abusing those they were called on to serve, the Boy Scouts themselves.

Whereas, this significant problem of homosexual men abusing Boy Scouts led to the Boy Scouts of America to create what is known as the "Perversion Files" -- a database containing detailing the wanton sexual abuse committed by over 5,000 adult men and a handful of women--and all of whom were expelled from BSA. Whereas, this outrageous abuse by homosexuals led to the BSA's training guide: "How to Protect Children from Child Abuse: A Parent's Guide." Scouts and their families must read this and sign off on this together before particpating in Boy Scouts.  Boy Scout Leaders must be continually trained on this issue. 

Whereas, the United States Supreme Court in 2000 allowed the Boy Scouts of America to ban all homosexuals from participating in Scouts for the protection and safety of the Scouts.

Whereas, Robert Gates lied to Scouts and families in 2014 when he took over as President of Boy Scouts promising that he would not allow homosexuals to serve as leaders of Boy Scouts, yet on May 21, 2015 Gates said the current policy excluding homosexuals serving as leaders "cannot be sustained."

Whereas, Robert Gates believes societal values are changing, i.e. there is rise in the number of homosexuals, and thus the BSA must concede. The reality is that only 1.6% of the American public identify themselves as homosexual according to the 2015 Centers for Disease Control study.

Therefore, I do hereby call on Robert Gates to immediately resign from serving as president of Boy Scouts...

*For blatently lying (A Scout is Trustworthy--not a lier) about his intent regarding installing homosexual leaders in Scouts;

*For ignorning 58 years of sexual abuse and lawsuits in the Scouts directly because of homosexual leaders (A Scout is friendly--not a sexual abuser), and

*For blaming the decline of Scouting on the BSA policy that does not allow homosexuals to be leaders in Scouts. The FACT is BSA membership dropped 7% because Scouts decided to allow gays to particpate as Scouts, not because they won't allow homosexual adults to particpate. If and when BSA allows homosexuals to become leaders in Scouts, Scouts will never recover.

Current BSA president Robert Gates betrayed every BSA council, every Scout, every parent saying he would not allow gay males to become leaders of Boy Scout troops. He lied and should resign. Gates MUST go!
