Please sign and share this petition everhywhere on all media sites in an effort to speak out to the Woodland Park Zoo officials and authorities in Seattle. They want to move two of their Asian elephants all the way to the Oklahoma City zoo, causing great concern for local animal activisits.

A lawsuit states in the Elephant Justice Project that the city of Seattle does not have the legal authority to give away the elephants and other property when it contracted with the nonprofit Woodland Park Zoological Society to manage and operate the zoo. They want to send its two Asian elephants, Bamboo and Chai, to Oklahoma City.

The activisits would prefer to see these majestic animals be transported to a local wildlife sanctuary rather than go to the Oklahoma City Zoo. A hearing is upcoming in early April to determine the outcome of this suit and where these two animals will be housed. Please help us in our efforts to protect these two elephants and not send them off to the Oklahoma City Zoo by signing and sharing this petition everywhere on all your media sites.

Seattle Wooldland Park Zoo Officials & King County Superior Court - Do not move these two Asian elephants, Bamboo and Chai, to Oklahoma City. If they cannot remain at the Woodland Park Zoo, move them to a local wildlife sanctuary where they can live out their lives in a safe and healthy manner. Do not move them to Oklahoma City!
