Once the Institution is up and running with its International alliances, Understanding, etc, Human prosperity will rise significantly from present malaria threatened 170 million and growing population and appalling poor circumstances whereby overwhelming majority live far below poverty line; less than $1 a day. Women's Potential will be unleashed as never before on the African Continent! Oviota Oriro Institute of Science & Technology has a most Noble Cause and is on threshold of launching, God enabling and you supporting!

Expected relevant parties to this Success include, but not limited to, Nigerian Governments, US Administration, American Peace Corps, Western Powers, Israeli Government, Russian Federation, Asian Mights, UN, Renowned Academies, Corporate Organizations and Individuals near and far!

The Oviota Oriro Institute of Science & Technology (OOIST) is more than a Traditional Sound Theories/Certification Institution (which is its baseline). Rather it is one with in-field practice arms and affiliations, etc, necessitated by unique circumstances in a 170 million, and growing, Nigerian population which, being pivotal on the African Continent, etc, has tremendous potential to contribute to overall welfare of Mankind! While it will need Government Assistance, facilitation, etc, it is Private and International.

The OOIST as a special Institute of Science & Technology has at its core: Eradication of Hunger in Nigeria through Collaboration between The Institute, International Governments, Organizations, Nigerian Governments, etc, Eradication of Malaria, employing specially focused Science and Technology through cross-fertilization among our Team, Russian Success, Indian success, Canadian Success and American and Asian Scientists, etc.

OOIST will contribute significantly to Transparency in Nigeria through development/deployment of relevant Technology as well as adapt and adopt Worldwide best practices and Unleash Women's Potentials, launching from very vigorous and rigorous Women and Gender Studies; consultations are already afoot!

The Institute applauds the Nigerian Government’s very bold program to make Rice importation unnecessary with sufficient production for both home consumption and exports. But that will still be far from solving the hunger challenge alongside the pervasive crippling personal poverty and hardship in the larger population.

Of course there is hardly any Government in the World that can do better than build the enabling environment and facilitate the Private and other players such as is under our Eradication of Hunger program. The least impediment is that Governments are limited to time-bound terms. No obligations on succeeding Governments to follow through, etc!!!

At this Academic/Professional level, an Institution would have maximum impact where there are Generics. To this end, OOIST would lay renewed and superior stress on Science, Engineering, Mathematics and Technology (STEM)!

Malaria is one of the most severe public health problems worldwide. It is a leading cause of death and disease in many developing countries, where young children and pregnant women are the groups most affected. According to the World Health Organization’s World Malaria Report 2011 and the Global Malaria Action Plan 3.3 billion people (half the world’s population) live in areas at risk of malaria transmission in 106 countries and territories. 86% of which is in Africa where Nigeria holds the largest single population!

Report published in the British medical journal the Lancet suggests 1.24 million people died from the mosquito-borne disease in 2010 as against underestimated World Health Organisation (WHO) figure of 781 000 deaths and 2011 figure of 655,000 malaria deaths.
