The Tiger Temple in Thailand has been documented and recorded for over 10 years by investigators, ex volunteers and the public for unprecedented ongoing abuse upon Tigers and other animals inside this facility, all in the name of Tourism.

Although Tigers in Thailand certainly need protection, the Tigers inside the Tiger Temple have been brutalised in order for their demeanour and natural characteristics to be minimalised so tourists can sit and have photos taken with them.

The evidence has been presented in reports, books, film and photographs which are all available on the internet. The abuse has been reported upon in virtually every country on earth and yet the brutalities continue.

Unknowing tourists are lured into thinking that this is a place of conservation or peace, it is anything but that for the Tigers and other animals.

Below is a small list of just some of the abuses the Tigers have had inflicted upon them.
* Beating/brutalising behind the scenes by staff (witnessed/film/photographed by multiple sources)
* Public beatings/brutalising of Tigers by staff. (witnessed/film/photo multiple sources)
* Chained and unable to move freely
* Unethical enclosures
* Incorrect diets
* Incorrect and untimely Veterinary aid
* Female Tigers forced un natural cycles of multiple breeding
* Incessant breeding of cubs for tourism
* Cubs taken from mother at 7 - 16 days old (rarely any longer)
* Tigers forced to endure immense heat and lack of water for tourism
* Tigers forced to "pose" for hours with hundreds of tourists per day
* And some have completely disappeared.....

There is alot more.....

This is NOT conservation or ethical tourism, this is ABUSE disguised as conservation, presented to aesthetically please the public while brutalities occur in public in front of tourists and behind the scenes.

Too long has this been excused.
It is long overdue that these brutal acts carried out on these majestic creatures is brought to an end.

Cee4life participated in a documentary on the Tiger Temple with SBS Dateline called "Taming the Tigers". To view, please go to this link -

Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Government of Thailand, Mr. Preecha Rengsomboonsuk;

Dept of National Parks Thailand, Chief Niphon Chotibal;

Abbot of the Tiger Temple, Pra Acharn Phusit (Chan) Khantitharo;

Foreign Manager of Tiger Temple, Julianne Chisholm;and

Board members of Tiger Temple.

After years of documented evidence on the brutalities inflicted upon the Tigers inside the Tiger Temple, we ask that this be ended now.

We understand that staff inside the Tiger Temple are not trained Tiger handlers and we offer to come and train staff on the ethical care and handling of these animals.

In this day and age, we human beings have learnt and understand much more about the high standards of care that must be given to captive animals in order for them to live a relatively peaceful life.  Ethical care does not involve beating and brutalising animals, breeding them incessantly and taking away new born cubs from their mothers at days old.  It also certainly does not involve "disappearing" animals.

What has been occurring to the Tigers in public and behind the scenes inside the Tiger Temple, by staff, is looked upon with both sorrow and anger by millions of people around the world.

We sincerely ask and urge that animal ethics and welfare is a implemented inside the Tiger Temple, and that no more physical, mental/emotional abuse in inflicted upon the Tigers.

It is time to end the abuse for once and all.
