Norfolk Southern have increasingly been stopping their trains across from the Belmont Avenue exit of I76. There are houses directly above there that have children and elderly people living there. The trains sit running for sometimes 24 hours. The fumes invade the houses to the point where it has set off the carbon monoxide alarms. The noise is loud enough to interfere with television, radio and normal conversation. Calls have been made to Norfolk Southern with no response.
We are asking that Norfolk Southern return to "parking" their trains up the track past the La Collina Restaurant or below the Sunoco station at Belmont Avenue.
