Urgent Appeal to French Immersion Families in Peel

On September 25, 2012, Peel Disctrict School Board Trustees will vote on proposed changes outlined in the Final Report of the French Immersion Review Committee – Elementary. These proposed changes will have a drastic effect on the nature and future of French Immersion programs throughout the region and will affect all future FI students.

If you wish to let your Trustee know that you do not support the board’s recommendation to decrease the hours of instruction in French to 50% from 85% in Grade One, along with capping the number of registrants into the program effective September 2013 by introducing a LOTTERY SYSTEM, please sign this petition.
