Let's Get Marissa Prosthetic Feet So She Can Wear Heels!

The students at Johns Hopkins University are doing some amazing things!!! They have created a prosthetic foot and ankle that helps women who have amputated legs to walk more comfortably in heels.

Their first priority group is female veterans! And we know just the woman veteran for them!

I started this petition to let Johns Hopkins University students know that Marissa Strock is a prime, deserving candidate to test their new prosthetic ankle, and to show them that she has so many people who stand behind her, love her, support her and want to see her in this prosthetic ankle.

Marissa was a military police officer who served in Iraq. On November 24th, 2005, Marissa's vehicle was struck by a command detonated IED that was buried in the road. Although Marissa lost both of her legs due to that explosion, she continues to give back to her community and others who have served. Marissa is a deserving candidate for this prosthetic ankle. She has sacrificed so much for her country; it would be amazing if we could give her this gift!

Please Johns Hopkins University, we plead with you to give this phenomenal woman the gift of walking with comfort in heels, and we salute you for caring so much about our nation's Heroes!
