BRING APOLLO HOME TO HIS FAMILY

My sweet 3 month old pup was in a car accident which insurance didn't cover his injury. I brought him to several hospitals & tried raising the near $ 7,000 needed for his surgery. I wasn't fortuanate in raising such a large amount of money. I was given the affordable option, to amputate hos leg & told by the vet that "a 3 legged dog is just as happy as a 4 legged dog". I know Apollo is a happy boy, but i didn't have to heart to do so. I was told by the MSPCA that my only other option was to surrender my dog to them because "this had gone on too long" so i was forced to surrender the pup to them or they would "take legal action". The accident occurred June 30. I immediately took my pup to VCA Weymouth, where he began treatment. He had xrays done & was given medication for his pain from a fractured elbow. The very next day i took Apollo to MSPCA Angell in Boston as i got turned down again because there were no financial plans they were willing to work with me with & no funds in the emergency fund because of a busy summer with alot of animals coming in hurt & depleting the funds for accidents like this. Long story short, MSPCA now took custody of Apollo, put his pictures on their website, raised plenty of money using him on their website. Now there are funds available to the next person in my exact situation. So i guess if my dogs accident happened earlier or later our family would still have our beloved Apollo.
