Scottish Goverment To Pay For A Fact Of Life

As a girls period is a natural occurring fact of life why should girls need to pay for feminine hygiene products? Girls don't choose to develop breasts or choose to have the endometrium (the inner lining of the uterus) to shed and excrete the body in such an ungodly fashion! As soon as a girl in Scotland turns the age of 13, for the next two years that girl will receive all the sanitary products that she may require (provided free by the Scottish government, who takes pride in moving forward to a more health conscious nation) as well as guide lines on how to use such products safely. Let's face it, we all hated that awkward chat with our PSE teacher or parent about our "menstrual cycle" of whom don't understand what it's like to be a young woman in today's society. We plan to change that! So that you can learn more about your body and all the changes that are occurring in the comfort of your own home.
