Justice for Frank the Dog

Frank the Dog, 18-months old, was shot four times (date) on his owner's porch in Campbell, Ohio. The story is
not a pretty one.
When Frank's family later put things together, it was discovered a delivery man, who had entered Frank's
house without permission, had left the door ajar. Frank slipped out to have fun adventure.
His owner, Teah, just returning from babysitting her granddaughter, spotted him playing between the houses.
She had no idea why he was there. Teah drove the few houses down the street to her own house where she
went into the kitchen to get a leash for Frank.
As she reached for the leash, she heard gun shots. She heard Frank screaming. Shot. Scream. Very quickly.
Four times. She heard thuds against her front door.
Teah ran to the door & discovered that Frank had been shot four times. Four times. He was bleeding
profusely. She & her husband, Christopher who had worked the midnight shift & had been sleeping, took
Frank into the kitchen where Christopher sat on the floor with him while he bled a huge pool of blood.
They took Frank to the emergency vet who said Frank had lost too much blood and was in too much pain to
be saved. Frank was put down. It was the kindest thing to do.
The
shooter later denied he had shot the dog and avoided arrest until the next day. He was charged with
animal abuse, discharging a weapon within city limits & obstruction of justice. So far. There may be more
charges filed. His gun has been confiscated.
His story was that Frank had attacked a young girl who said that wasn't true. The shooter said Frank had
jumped on the girl as evidenced by a little mud on the back of the girl's pants. The girl said she had fallen
before Frank came along.
This shooter had FOLLOWED Frank to the house. Frank was going home! Frank was on his front porch where
the actor shot him FOUR TIMES.
We want to see this man prosecuted to the maximum. He shouldn't be allowed to walk away with a small fine
& a slap on the wrist. His actions were outrageous & unforgiveable. Please sign the petition to urge that he be
punished strongly for his terrible deed in killing an innocent dog & endangering the humans in the area.
The petition will be sent to the Campbell Law Director Brandon Marcala who will hear the case. Trial is set for
Feb. 2, 2016.
