This petition is to add a Gay/Straight alliance to Ursuline College Chatham. A Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) is a student-run club, providing a place where students can come together and talk about issues involving gender identity and sexual orientation. It also provides a place for students to come together and put an end to homophobia and trans-phobia. This will benefit the students in many ways, such as preventing suicide, bullying, and overall helping to create a happier, healthier and more accepting school community. This will help bring UCC together and promote loving, accepting and supporting one another. "Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. For with the judgment you make you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get." (Matthew 7:1-2)
