As a teenage fan of American Ninja Warrior, I do not support the 21+ years of age requirement to compete on the show. I feel that the United States is now blooming with young athlete's with great talent who would love to compete on American Ninja Warrior, but don't want to have to wait til they are 21 to have that shot. G4TV should have a competition with obstacles like the Ninja Warrior course but maybe make it a little easier and instead of the cash reward for finishing make it where you win something like a game console or something else along that line. I feel by making this version to people between the ages of 16-20 you would be promoting the next generation of America's young adults.
A lot of the youth in America are starting training young and they should have a course to test their skill sets as the adults in America do. This would also prepare them for the real American Ninja Warrior. I feel this would give today's young adult's a chance at a new experience. You are almost guaranteed a hit show.
Ryan Sheckler (pro skateboarder) who won a gold medal in the the X-games at the age of 13 once said "I Came out here to make a statement" "Don't ever give up, You gotta keep trying, and never give up" I bring these words to your attention because we as young Americans should never give up. So please stand with me to make a difference and have our own Ninja Warrior Competition.
If you are worried about legal liability then have the people competing sign a liability release forum and insurance waiver. You could also make sure they know its extremely dangerous and should compete at their own risk.
These are the view's of myself. If you agree with the previous statement's please sign this petition so we can all enjoy a Teenage Ninja Warrior.
