Okanagan Specialty Fruits want to produce an apple that has been genetically modified to be non-browning. They are calling these 'Arctic Apples'. Their website states that these are:

''...everything you love about apples, without the 'yuck' factor that you don't. (Now if we could just get rid of the seeds!)''

If the Canadian Food Inspection Agency approve these apples for commercial use, I will boycott them, and be very reluctant to buy any Canadian produce whatsoever.
