Demand a Street Light for a Dark Bus Stop and Pavement of Centerville Road in Fort White, Florida!

  • by: Melvin Carver

The school bus stop at the corner of Centerville and Newport, in Fort White Florida, is a dark spot. The kids that get on the bus in the mornings are at risk for being struck by a fast-moving vehicle that may not be able to see them.

The second agenda item is the pavement of Centerville from U.S Highway 27 to the corner of Centerville and Newport. The road is bad off and the number of people that travel it are numerous. The entire road is approximately 2 miles long and it connects two major roads ( U.S Highway 27 and Elim Church road). These two roads are major roads in Columbia County and are connected by Centerville, which is unpaved. There are several children in the area with asthma, which is stirred up by the dust created the dirt road when it is dry.

These are problems that can be fixed with the proper funds and help from caring people in elected offices!
