We request that you change your laws forbidding glass pipes and bongs.
Since most Floridians believe in freedom of expression, they are against the constitutionally unethical house Bill 49. Glass blowing is an art and many artists live off of this craft. The government should not have the right or ability to dictate how Americans choose to express themselves.
The punishments imposed are absurd and much too extreme. The government considers possession or the use of what they many deem to be “drug paraphernalia a Felon in the state of Florida now. This means, a person will no longer have the right to vote because they are going to be considered a Felon, even if they were arrested for owning a completely new and unused glass pipe or bong.
We now have an idea to finally put a stop to the bill.
American citizens everywhere can let the authorities know that we're standing up for our rights and that we will not continue to let them take away our rights. Floridians believe in the 10th Amendment and it says that the Government only has the ability to pass laws on issues and matters over which the Constitution actually has control.
